The Restaurant at the End of the Universe is a solid four-star experience, assuming you enjoy the existential certainty of dining while the cosmos collapses around you. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Milliways is not a place you find. It is a place you find yourself at, usually after an improbability jump, a few panicked screams, and a complimentary dry martini. The atmosphere is formal but relaxed, the decor is tastefully apocalyptic, and the view is, quite literally, to die for.
Sample Menu
| Course | Dish | Price | Notes |

| Dessert | Collapse of the universe, à la mode | 15 Altairian dollars | Best enjoyed after the main. |
| Beverage | Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster | 7 Altairian dollars | Do not operate starships afterward. |
Important
A polite guest does not ask the meat what it recommends. If you do not understand this warning, you are not yet ready for the main course.
What to Wear
Milliways has a famously relaxed dress code, but as a rule, one should avoid looking like a recently planetless refugee. Towels are acceptable as accessories; they are not, however, acceptable as trousers.
Dining at the end of all things gives you a certain perspective. Mostly it makes you want to order another drink before the stars go out.
Getting There
The restaurant is situated at the end of time and matter, which is inconvenient but not impossible. Most patrons arrive via the Heart of Gold or a passing party ship. If neither is available, you may have to wait until the universe ends naturally, which is considered poor etiquette.
